Hi all,
I have a European URC-8206 Kameleon remote. I am trying to set up an easy to use and see in the dark basic remote for my wife. This remote fits the bill in most ways. One thing I would like to do is to turn off the light for individual keys that are not used/programmed. The screens light up all keys for that particular mode even if a key is not programmed.
Is there any way to do this beyond covering them with black tape?
I am trying to make it user friendly and reduce the confusion of many unused keys.
Thanks,
John |

I'm 99 44/100% certain that you cannot do anything like you are suggesting. I'll let a Kameleon expert chime in, but that degree of control over individual button illumination has not been achieved (nor would I believe it possible). _________________ Beginners - Read this thread first

Thanks for the response Capn.
I guess I was expecting that answer but thought I'd check to make sure.
