I'am new to JP1 and have problems in editing the RDF file for the currently unsupported URC-8350 (IR & RF).
The IR dump as well as my first incorrect RDF is here:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=7825
Device Codes:
TV - 02558 Western Digital WD-TV
DVD - 21633 Sony DVD Player DVP-NS708H
Audio - not set
STB - 01237 Dreambox 800
Thank you,

It is pretty adventurous to modify the RDF files as someone who is new to JP1. You might consider using the one created by NBoater which was submitted today. He wants people to test and get feedback it anyways.

Using NBoater's RDF on an unextended remote is a very bad idea.
Just use the complete RDF that's been available HERE for nearly 3 years created by our top RDF expert.
You can use NBoater's Map and Image HERE. Just add the following line to the General section:
ImageMap=URC-8350.map |

I'm kind of curious. If it has been available for three years, then why hasn't been made available in the general release? _________________ Remotes; JP1.2: Comcast URC-1067, JP1.3: Insignia NS-RC02U-10A, JP1.4 OARI06G, JP2.1: Cox URC-8820-MOTO (still trying to figure out how to make them self-aware.) |
