That's the complete range, so if you didn't find any thing else, it either means that there's nothing else to find or that the TV wasn't in the right mode for the button to do anything (eg, an arrow button might not have any effect unless you're in a MENU screen, that sort of thing). _________________ Rob

I could use some help. Here's the code request template:
1. Device: Westinghouse LVM-47w1
2. Type of device: LCD monitor
3. Year: 2006 (new)
4. UEI Remote model: Replay Panasonic Showstopper 30xx
5. Do you have a JP1 cable? no
6. Still have original remote? yes
7. Checked the file section? yes
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? no
9. Partially working setup code? yes
10. Learning remote question? no
I can set the remote to the Sony 0000 code and control the power. However, what NEC code is supposed to be better ? I found somewhere on the forum old posts that said NEC1 should be a 0030. I tried that and the other NEC codes listed for TVs in my Replay Owners Manual - they didn't work. Looking in the files section of this forum, the file for the Westinghouse LTV-37w1 is the only Westinghouse TV I found. It shows a setup code of 1321 - that doesn't work either.
Anyone know a good code, or an upgrade file if I need to program the remote. I have a similar (worse) problem with my TS-360, but at least I see there are several JP1 upgrade files for that device.
Thanks,

The TV/1321 device code is not a UEIC code, so it would not be found in your remote. It is a home-made device upgrade, and the builder/user can assign ANY device code number to it before installing it into his/her remote.
Without a cable, your options are pretty limited, and I'm not smart enough to know if your remote is JP1-capable. There are only 6 UEIC built-in TV codes using NEC1 device 1 (which is what that 1321 upgrade you refer to uses). They are:
0685
0717
0756
0857
0885
1942
If you're lucky, one of those MIGHT be built-in to your Replay remote, but I'm not optimistic, since these setup codes are not present in very many remotes at all. The highlighted ones are reportedly available in the Replay 5000 remote, so I'd try those first. _________________ Beginners - Read this thread first

e.axel, Could you put your final NEC version of the upgrade into the file section? There is one in the Diagnosis area, but not in the regular Device Upgrades section. _________________ Chris |

Here's a link, although I would suggest it better to put it in the TV section rather than in the generic Device Upgrade setion, since that is not usually used for upgrades directly. _________________ Beginners - Read this thread first

The search function in the File Section never found the file in the Device Upgrades section. I never thought to look there.
Thanks for moving it to the TV area. _________________ Chris |
