You need to know what setup codes the EFCs go with in order for them to be useful. _________________ Rob

That's jvc protocol 0034, The same as the ilo's and several liteon's in the file area. Can be key moved to fit the 0623 code for any non jp1 users. |

Which 0017? I show a TV/0017, VCR/0017, CBL/0017 and Audio/0017, but none of them use the JVC protocol. Which remote did you use these with and are you using a built in setup code or one that you loaded as an upgrade? _________________ Rob

It's a DVD/0017 setup code, and I loaded it as an upgrade. At least, 0017 is listed on the Upgrades tab. But I programmed them in as keymoves. |

The setup code number used in JP1 upgrade files is meaningless as it's just a random number chosen by the person who created the upgrade file. If you used an upgrade as the basis for these codes, could you please post a link to it.
For yourself, rather than re-programming all the buttons using keymoves, you could just have re-worked the upgrade file itself. _________________ Rob

Like I said, I'm a newbie. If I could figure out how to do that, I would. (groan, sorry) |

OK, let's do a step-by-step then. You say that you added the code as an upgrade, where did you get the upgrade from? I'm guessing it was here in the file section. Do you think you could re-trace your steps and find the file again? If you can, when you get there, highlight the page address (ie, the line at the top of the page that starts with http://www.hifi-remote.com ) and do a "copy" (ie, CNTL-C) then come back to this thread and do a "paste" (ie, CNTL-V) to paste the link here for us. THen we'll be able to see what the "0017" code that you used looks like.
Does that help? _________________ Rob
