Hi, everybody
I need help! I'm completely confused.
In order to have a functional URC9960 in Europe, and after reading some reviews, i bought a JP1 cable and a pogo-pin adapter.
But, after looking the cable and my URC, it seems that i need to solder something in the remote control. I'm correct?
Thanks,

The pogo-pin adapter is supposed to be an alternative to soldering a connector into your remote.
I've never used one, but I assume use of the pogo-pin adapter requires holding it in place while you do JP1 uploads and downloads. But that shouldn't be a big deal if you're any ordinary JP1 user (configuring the remote for yourself) rather than a JP1 guru (testing other people's configs, etc.).
Did you get the pogo adapter? Did you find it among whatever packaging arrived? |
