I can't get my cable to work with my remote. "No response from interface."
Please take a look and tell me if you immediately spot something wrong with this cable...
I used the instructions here: http://www.hifi-remote.com/jp1/simple/
For your consideration, I also have an 8800 Producer 8 remote if that lends anything to a diagnosis.

Hi. Right off the bat *I* noticed you should consider cutting the resistor leads a little shorter or using some heat shrink tubing the next time. If component leads touch each other or touch a metal casing, they will short.
