|
|
I have a challenge...
There is a little known function (skip forward) for a Motorola DCT6208 that I have successfully put into my 15-1994 remote and I would like to be able to offer the correct code to Pronto users. Since I don't have a pronto, I'm not sure what needs to be done. I understand that they can accept a set of text characters, but I don't know how to convert what I have to what they need.
Information from keymap-master is:
The Overall protocol that is being used is:
Protocol Name = GI Cable
PID = 00 C4
Style = LSB
Type = 1-Byte
Notes = CBL/0476
The Specific Code for the Skip Forward Button is:
OBC = 063
EFC = 173
Hex = FC
I have already uploded an upgrade code file to the jp1 files section of Yahoo groups. The posting with file info is here:

Does any have the ability to either convert this code or possibly just use a JP1 remote to help a Pronto remote "learn" the code?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
