My Xsight Touch was working fine until today I tried to add a new macro. The Upload failed message and some of my favorites changed to a different channel. Most of the icons, that before were ok, now are gibberish.
I tried restarting the pc and the remote, without luck. RM is 2.09 build 8.
Thanks. |

While I doubt that this is a contributing factor, your version of RM is quite out of date, we're already up to 2.14 build 11. _________________ Rob

Edit by mathdon: I have deleted the rest of this post as it was an enormously long but still incomplete extract from a .rmir file and as such, of no use for diagnosis. |

As you have been a member of JP1 since 2013, I assumed you would know what I meant by posting the .rmir file. Please upload it to the Diagnosis Area of the File Section (use link at top of any JP1 page to go to the File Section), then post a link to the uploaded file here in this thread. _________________ Graham |

Please don't go back to assuming that seniority in the forum means that the user knows all the rules, nor that at 87 years of age I should know them. In none of my posts I come across uploads.
I apologize again for the inconvenience caused. My visit to this forum was pleasant and useful for me, until now. |

I was not intending to be rude, but if I unintentionally offended you, please put it down to me being too abrupt in my old age. I am 81, so we are a pair of octogenarians and I hope we can excuse any foibles in the other due to age. I am happy to help you but I do need you to do as I asked and post your .rmir file in the Diagnosis Area. _________________ Graham |
