|
|
Was wondering if any of you can point me in the right direction to obtain the Slingbox BIN files for a GTmedia V8 (satellite decoder). I attempted to use the Freesat IR files but those didn't work at all.
Your help is highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Isaac |

Hi The Robman
The remote worked perfectly! just that I couldn't find which button is used to select among satellites, but it's fine, I'll try to find a workaround.
Thanks again,
Isaac |

Hi,
First, thank you so much for this file!
I tested this file in the gtmedia v7s2x.
It works almost perfect, the only failing button is "last channel", I would try to fix it.
Thanks again |

If you haven't already done so, please test all of the buttons, including the custom buttons, to ensure that they all do what they're supposed to do and that none of them are really the LAST_CH button.
I had programmed "Recall" to the Last Ch button, does it do anything?
I have created a test upgrade where I have replaced all the numeric buttons with button codes to test. So, please upload this upgrade, I've called it S2011 so that it won't overlay your existing S2010 upgrade. Then once it's loaded, test number buttons 1 thru 8 to see if they do anything. If any of them do anything, please report back what they did and I'll add them to the main upgrade. Hopefully one of them is LAST_CH.

Sadly, you are rigth Robman, when I tested all the buttons I discovered that only some of them works fine, also the ch+, ch-, vol+, vol- made double signal. I have to highlight that my sat is a GTMedia 7 Vs2x and not the V8. So I decided to create my own bin file. I tested it and works fine. I would like to share the bin file but I dont know how to upload files in the forum
Have a good day |

Here are the instructions to load a file. These were written for the Diagnosis Area, but you should load your RMDU file in Device Upgrades > Satellite folder, and put your bin file in the Slingbox > Slingbox Binary Files folder.
