|
|
Try to setup my One for All remote (OARUSB04G)> I was able to learn the codes I needed for the TV (Power and Volume) but now I would like to add the NVidia Shield. Searching around, I found that you could use the FLIRC IR receiver on the Shield to control the Shield and ultimately control Kodi but I must be missing some steps.
Ideally this would all be using the one device on the remote.
Appreciate any tips.

We have an upgrade file for the Nvidia Shield here:

You're One For All remote (OARUSB04G) came with a standard USB cable, which you can use to connect it to your computer and program it using JP1 software (ie, a program called RMIR). _________________ Rob

I wouldn't use MCE with Flirc. MCE is RC5 with a toggle bit which means you need to record every remote button twice. My best experience with Flirc is by using NECx1 or NECx2. I'm using a TV code 2051 with Flirc (setup code for a Samsung TV) which uses NECx2. Works well with both old and new Flirc. _________________ Marcin |

Hi There,
I have a Shield TV 2015 to.
I found a way to use a special button for downloading subtitles
The same button longpress launches the subtitle sync screen
You just need FLIRC to put in Keyboard mode and capture the IR-command.
You'll find the files here
SPMC is Kodi but for Android.
In Flirc choose keyboard letter "g" and choose a key on your remote. capture it and voila
"g" is for downloading subtitles
"g longpress" is for syncing of your subtitles
In Flirc choose keyboard letter "h" and choose a key on your remote.
"h" is for "next audio stream often another language in DVD
"h" longpress is for next subtitle
You can see where these files need to be..
Android\data\com.semperpax.spmc16\files\.spmc\userdata\keymaps
Android\data\org.xbmc.kodi\files\.kodi\userdata\keymaps
The Py script goes here
Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/userdata/audiolanguageselect.py
Android/data/com.semperpax.spmc16/files/.spmc/userdata/audiolanguageselect.py
mark the dot before kodi and spmc its a hidden map
Best Regards
