I found an interesting GE remote at BestBuy that I really like the layout of but there is not much information out there about the remote. So does anyone know if the GE 30758 8 Device Universal Remote is a JP1 capable unit? Thanks |

Highly unlikely. Find a manual, and that will confirm. |

Not JP1. UEI has never made any remotes for GE as far as we know.
What do you like about it? Perhaps we can recommend a similar JP1 remote. |

'Tis a pity.
I just came across this remote for the first time in the store and thought that it could serve as a successor to my beloved OFA 8820.
Physically, it's very similar, and has illumination!
Thankfully, I've still got an unopened spare 8820 waiting in the wings. |
