I have now made an official release of Extender v1.01 for the URC-6440 and have updated the first post in this thread accordingly. It is identical to the preliminary version, see this post above, except for the manual which has a section added. There is a new section 10.7 containing the information in the post immediately above this one.
To repeat what I said about the preliminary version, v1.01 makes two substantial improvements to version 1.00:
1. The final key of a macro sequence repeats for as long as the button with the macro on it is held.
2. The Multiplex special function no longer writes to flash memory.
See the link to the preliminary version for further discussion of item 2. _________________ Graham |

Would the extender mean that I would be able to assign a macro to a device key using a long key press?
I currently use URC-7562's which have function buttons that I have programmed so that I can switch between input devices on the TV and change the device on the remote with one key press on the remote. I would like to replicate this on the URC-6440 - A LKP on device buttons would be a way to do it. _________________ WKeith |

Not with v1.01 of the extender, but it will be possible with v1.03 which is currently under pre-release testing. (Note that v1.02 was never publicly released.) _________________ Graham |

Thanks Graham
Happy to assist with testing if that would be useful. _________________ WKeith |
