|
|
Mike Sayrs posted a rmdu that included a request for the "sleep" code for Philips LCD TV's which I had available from a Harmony Remote.
However, it appears that I no longer have a jp1 remote with learning capabilities.
I was able to capture the raw output using Hip but don't know how to convert that to something that is jp1 usable.
Any clues or pointers?

>> What's wrong with your URC-8910 remote? <<
There was a serious short circuit between the ears.
Assuming that a second led was required to learn before I posted the request, I looked at my pile of remotes and the only one that had 2 led's was the cinema6 ...which is not well.
I had just pulled out the remote manuals and re-discovered that the 8910 had learning capabilities and recorded the command when notice of your post arrived. When I get back to the computer with the parallel port, I will transfer the command and get it to the rmdu author.
Admonishment appreciated,

Just in case the learns into the 8910 didn't "take", the normal Philip TV Sleep command is RC5 device 16, OBC 38. |

Got different results confirmed with two learns.
The following works on my Philips 47PFL7422D LCD TV
Code: |
LEARNED SIGNALS:
Prot Dev OBC Hex EFC Misc
RC6 0 71 47 248 T=1
RC6 0 71 47 248 T=0
|
edited code to clarify
I will also try yours to see if that works.
Thanks,

With RC5/6 Toggle bit changes with every press, so just ignore that part and it will work fine. |
