OBC and Hex Codes

I have 3 video switches on my whole house video distribution system. 2 of the 3 switches are programmable where they can learn from any remote. The third came with a 6 button remote. My plan was to learn the codes from the 6 button remote, and create a new device around buttons 1-6 and use the channel/volume and arrow buttons with sequential obc codes to control the other 2 switches. The problem I'm running into is that the 6 channel switch is responding to the codes I set up for the 2 programmable switches.

Is there a rule of thumb on which OBC codes wil intefer or be close enough to other that should be avoided?

I have read this post several times and cannot follow what you're talking about, so I suspect that others are in the same position.

Upload this mysterious upgrade file to the diagnosis area and post a link to it here. Make sure you include plenty of detailed explanatory notes, like which signals are based upon learns, and which ones you just "added" and attempted to force the "reverse-learning" from.
