Howdy all,

I have recently purchased the above and taught my 8811 the signals. However, while they do work, they do not decode to anything useful. Some of them decode to the same device/OBC even though they do different things. If you paste them into IR, you will see what I mean. As a result, I have no idea how to make an upgrade for them. IR doesn't give the raw data either, so I wouldn't know where to begin to work with Protocol Builder.

Here are the learned signals taken from IR7b3:

Input 1:
25 60 1C 00 D4 03 01 3E 2B 83 03 BA 01 3F 01 3E
03 BB 98 22 11 22 11 21 21 12 22 21 21 12 20

Input 2:
26 60 1C 00 D4 03 01 3E 2B 87 03 BA 01 3F 01 3E
03 BB 98 22 11 22 11 21 12 22 12 21 12 22 10

Input 3:
27 60 1C 00 D4 03 01 3E 2B 82 03 BA 01 3E 01 3E
03 BA 98 22 11 22 11 12 21 11 22 12 21 11 20

Input 4:
2D 60 1C 00 D4 03 01 3E 2B 88 03 BA 01 3F 01 3E
03 BB 98 22 11 22 11 12 12 21 12 12 12 21 10

Power:
3B 60 1C 00 D4 03 01 3E 2B 87 03 BA 01 3F 01 3E
03 BB 98 22 11 22 11 22 11 12 12 22 11 12 10

If anyone can help with how to make this into an upgrade, it would be greatly appreciated!

(1) In IR's "Advanced" menu, select "Force Learned Timings" to get the timing data displayed;

(2) Upload your entire IR file with the learned signals to the diagnosis area and provide a link here, and someone will have a better chance to help you.

I second that. In order for me to use the data you posted I would have to manually cut & paste it back into an IR file, and of course, you had to manually cut & paste it to post it. So it would save both of us some time if you just posted a copy of the IR file.

Thanks for the speedy replies!

I am in class right now but re-created an IR file with the info:

https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=4503

I discovered last night before bed that the Hawaiian Breeze Fan in this forum also uses Old Panasonic codes. I installed the upgrade and lo and behold, some of the keys work. The Power (CH+), Input 1(menu), and Input 2(info) codes are accessible. I tried filling in a couple of OBCs following the decreasing sequence but no joy. I guess one option is just trying all 256 codes.

Thanks for the Advanced setting. That should let me decode it. I think that might be more work than trying all 256 codes but it looks like an interesting exercise if all else fails. Bit of a learning curve on PB!

Thanks,

I finally got around to punching in all the codes and found the last ones. So, I still haven't gotten into the whole binary decode but I'll know for next time.

Seems like I'm the only JP1er who has this but in case anyone else gets one, here is a link to the KM file:

dload.php?action=file&file_id=4619

or here is the upgrade code:

FF 00 91 CC 00 A7 9D 63 59 00 00 00 00 00 C5

Sorry I missed that you posted your IR file first time around, but I've just checked your work and it's spot on, so congrats!
