JP1 Remotes

Hi,

I'm fairly new at this.. so here's the problem. I have a DVD/Stereo (RCA-RS2030) and evidently the remote is kind of a multifunction type thing. Most DVD functions are under Device Code 5 (Protocol RCA) but things like Volume and other Stereo functions are under device code 12

How do I get both of them to work at once on my remote? i.e. if I select DVD on my remote how can the volume button be under Device Code 12 and say the menu buttons under device code 5??

You should be able to set that all up in KM using the "RCA Combo (Official)" protocol. On the Functions sheet, you specify the Device number as the byte2 parameter.
