Can anyone help with this problem.

I have tried it with serveral upgrade file for the Panasonic DVD recordrer from the files area, i.e. E85 and E80, same problem occurs. I am using the latest Keymaster and IR. The remote is a topfield 8 for one.

All goes well, upgrade loads to KM, and pasted into IR, IR then asks if I want to asign the new upgrade to a device, when I chose the device I get the error message below (if I try and asign it in the general Tab, It assigns but does not work.

List index out of bounds (-1)

Many thanks
Keith

While I don't know exactly what the problem is (and it's most likely a problem with the RDF), I do have an idea for a work-around. In KM click the "disable embedded keymoved" checkbox and then try copying your upgrade. Alternatively, when IR asks if you want to assign the upgrade to a device button, say no.

When you opened the upgrades in KM, did you select the proper remote before copying the code over to IR?

Could you cut & paste a copy of the original upgrade (ie, the one with the embedded keymoves) please.

There appears to be some problems in the RDF for the Topline (I think that's the remote in question).

First, there's a few buttons specific to the Topline-8 that have names in the RDF such as "(T8)-". It looks like IR doesn't like the "(T8)" in parenthesis.

However, just removing them doesn't squash the "List index out of bounds" error, so there might be a problem with the button numbers.

I took a quick look but didn't see anything obvious.

I think the problem lies in the RDF so there's no need for your files at this time. I just don't know when I'll be able to take an in-depth look at the RDF.
