JP1 Remotes

Looks like the 2117 & 2116 are going bye-bye! They had them online last week but they don't seem to be there anymore.

If you want one of these, you better get to your local RatShack and pick one up.

BTW, The 2117 were the same price as the 2116 last week - $29.99.

Gee, and all this time I thought the 2116 was that. With the extra buttons on the back of the 2116 it is identical. Wait a second, what do you mean yours didn't have them

Gosh Nils, you have 202 posts, so welcome to the 200+ club. I suppose your rating will upgrade from advanced to postaholic as well. Of course, we have a LONG way to go to catch up with Rob, at 568, but we have a chance to catch and beat Mark at 265. Actually, i kinda like the short-lived "gettin good at this", and not quite sure if "postaholic" is an "upgrade", "downgrade", or (Gasp!!!!) actually supposed to be an "insult". If the latter, it didn't work. Fact is I hadn't laughed so hard after I saw it in a long time. I did have to clean up a little coffee off my monitor tho, but it needed cleaned anyway. Anyway, welcome, you're in exclusive company

I just checked the RS site and the only UEI remotes currently being listed are the (crappy) 4 device Kameleon and the flag remote.

That means in addition to the 15-2116/7 being missing, the 15-2133 Kameleon is also missing.

Just FYI though, I was able tp pick up a 15-2117 for someone at the Shack yesterday for $30.

Nope... that's a special Title assigned by Rob (or any Admin). It doesn't change based on post count like normal users' do.

No one will ever catch Rob unless he disappears for a year or so. As for catching me, go for it. Post count doesn't mean much to me. Like everything in life, it's quality, not quantity. 8)

I see the 2116 but not the 2117 on this page. Note that there is also a second page of remotes if you click the '2' at the bottom. I wonder why the 2117 is not listed, and then I remember, oh, yeah, RS is all screwed up.

The new link at the top of the RS remotes page is interesting. You can find many OEM remotes from a company called Vance Baldwin Electronics.
