If you post the complete contents of files in your post, rather than use the Diagnosis Area, I will delete them, as I did here.

I didn't, I just deleted the contents of the file from your post. We don't allow entire files to be posted as messages as they take up too much space. We ask that files be posted as files.

Sometimes I get the sense that you are not necessarily reading all that is available here (sticky posts, read me's, etc.) or not reading it carefully, or not reading the replies to your posts carefully. Rob pretty clearly explained why he edited your post, and as for special protocols not working in you upgraded IR file, two of us have pointed out in
your other thread that you have not installed the extender correctly and the special protocol functions will not work until you properly install and activate it.
The people here bend over backwards to help, but expect a certain level of attention to detail and effort from those who seek the help.

Not your thread, but in response to a question YOU POSTED in that thread, you were provided the following:
Capn Trips wrote:ElizabethD wrote:Capn Trips wrote:After uploading the extended IR file, you must press TV:Power to activate the extender (All LCDs activate for a short while, followed by "SUCCESS" displayed).
Something strange about this file. May or may not be relevant. ...
2. Extender device TV/1800 isn't in the list at all.
Duhh... how did I miss that?!

Of course that is your problem. You're definitely not running the extender. Read the extender documentation more closely to see what files you can and cannot delete from the extender. TV/1800 is most definitely NOT among them!
So my question is: Have you corrected your IR file to properly include the TV/1800 device? Have you then uploaded this to your remote and properly activated the extender?
If you have not, I encourage you to do so, and withhold further questions until you have.
If you have, and neither the custom mode name nor the DSM work, then it's appropriate to post your NEW IR file and ask someone to look at it.
If you have, and these capabilities now work, you're welcome.

Which macro? None of the macros you have defined actually do anything except to set the various key sets. You mentioned the L1 macro in your first post... there isn't any macro defined for L1.

It should just power off or on the TV.

After activating the extender, does pressing TV then Power make the TV turn on/off?

Shame, in a way; I was looking forward to seeing how deeply one could nest quotes (I'm guessing it's about 24):
