I added this upgrade
https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... ile_id=693
to the remote and everything works fine except for the VCR and DVD select. DVD select is on PAGE+ and VCR select is on PAGE-. On this remote, PAGE+ and PAGE- are on the movie play function buttons. For now, I've moved the select functions to the M1 and M2 keys to get by. Am I missing something? Thanks,
Alex

It's not clear what your problem is (nor that there even IS a problem), nor what you may be "missing". If you have all of the functions you want mapped to all of the buttons you want, then you have accomplished what you want, haven't you?
If you are UNHAPPY with the button mapping, then you need to go into your upgrade in KM, go to the buttons tab, and assign the functions wherever you prefer and then paste the generated upgrade into IR and assign the upgrade to the device button you desire.
If your "question" is something else, please try to state it more clearly.

On this remote, the buttons used for "play" and "pause" are active and "page+" and "page-" are inactive (not lit). The page+/- keys are the same button as play/pause on the 15-2133, so as you can see, they can't be used. What I'm "missing" is how do I make the keys switch from "play/pause" to "page+/-"?

I see now what your problem is. I'm not an expert on Kameleons (despite owning one, I have yet to program the darned thing).
I believe there is a way to change the screen or "page" is there not?
I know KM shows those keys as "available" for the 2133 in DVD device mode so I have to believe there's a way to reach, or activate, those buttons.
edit: I just looked at a photo of a 2133 and it has a "screen" button that I believe shifts you from one screen to another. Have you tried this?

Yeah, tried that, but those buttons arent lit up.

Guess I'll keep em on the memory buttons for now or use the "skip" keys. I'm glad I have an 8910. A lot less complicated!

I think the printed manual shows you which buttons are visible in each screen for each device, so it might be possible that if you pik a different device mode you'll be able to use those 2 buttons (but you'll probably lose certain other DVD buttons).

The Kameleons have more labels than physical buttons and the labels change to reflect the different device modes and different "screens" chosen but for each device mode it simply isn't possible to have everything. Choose a different device mode, use shifted keys (KeyMoves) or load up an extender and use long key presses, double key presses etc. Personally, I'd live with the M1, M2 buttons to begin with and then read up about the extender.
I'm going off using the "screen" button on my Kameleon as it seems to promise more buttons but all you end up doing is wasting time switching between screens. I can probably live with just TV (2 screens with Text buttons on one) and DVD modes (1 screen only with transfer and menu buttons). The SAT mode is particularly annoying as subtitles require you to presss "subtitle", "screen" (or "menu") - to get another page of buttons, up arrow (to select English) and then "OK".
The Extenders subsection of the Files area on this forum has an an extender for 15-2133 and also one for URC-8060. I'm not sure if there are differences or if you can interchange them in the same remote but one remote is the US version and the other European.
