Easiest way to go from IR config to KM dev. upgrade?

I've had to modify the setup for my mits display (WS-73903 using setup code 0150). I've added discretes for on, off, DTV input, ANT-A input and Input-1. I also fixed the left-arrow and right-arrow, as these didn't work right with the 0150 setup.
I programmed the above using advanced codes directly into the remote, but I've downloaded them into IR. I've not seen instructions on how to convert this into a KM device upgrade easiest. Pointers/suggestions would be great.
Thanks,
jeff

Mark Pierson created one for me but he didn;t share the process secret. I hate to bother people with stuff like this so I'd also like to see a faq on this. And thx again to Mark for his help.

What I did for Justin was convert an official UEI-supplied upgrade into KM format. It sounds like greenough1 is looking to extract the TV/0150 built-in code from the remote. That's not possible with the JP1 tools since they only work with the EEPROM, and not the remote's ROM (firmware).
The TV/0150 setup code is based on the Mitsubishi protocol, device=71. A list of the
advanced codes is also available. In addition, there are several Mitsubishi upgrade files in the
TV folder that would be good starting points.

Hi Guys,
Well that's what I did, i.e. started with the 0150 setup and fixed, with advanced codes, what didn't work. By fixed, I mean I entered the advanced code directly onto the remote on top of the key that was misbehaving.
I suppose I can brute force it, by just adding manually the keymoves to the mits 0150 setup. then saving will save the .txt file that is the device upgrade.

The file you're talking about saving would be the IR configuration which is not an upgrade per se. As you said, it's just a few key moves on top of the built-in code.
If you want to build your own custom upgrade (in KM) based on TV/0150, you can use the parameters I listed above or start with one of the exisiting Mitsu files. Then you can customize all the function assignments to your own personal satisfaction.

Ok, I slightly misunderstood you. No harm done since you seem to have a handle on what you need to do.
