JP1 Remotes

I bought the last one from RadioShack "15-2117" last evening.

My TV and VCR works great with this..

Now I am not able to map the code for my ONKYO receiver. Also I have an Aiwa Tape/ CD system... it is also not working. and so is my ASPIRE DVD..
I already used all Learnig keys..

WHat do I need to do?
Ppl says buy cable but what to do with cable ?? I dont see any slot for cable on remote. Am i missing something??
(plzz understand i am new to JP1 tech it may be a stupid question for many here )

If you have a special version of the 15-2117 that doesn't have a 6-pin conenctor in the battery compartment, you probably won't be able to update it using JP1.
