URC-9960 with Barco CRT?

Hello everyone!
I'm in desperate need of a remote for my Barco CRT (Data708), the original remote was lost and didn't come with the projector. I've now been trying to find a remote that works with the Barco as well as with my other equipment, but this has been proved harder than I first thought.
I've now stumbled onto the URC-9960 (
http://www.bluedo.com/bluedocgi/product ... RC-9960PKG) which seems like a nice featured remote with good looks as well. I'm thinking of buying it with a JP1 cable but don't know if it will work with the Barco. I've read that many of the other OFA remotes work well with Barco projectors but haven't found any information on the URC-9960 regarding this matter.
So, if anyone could help me confirming this I'd be very thankfull! Any other comments on the remote itself?
Regards,
Patrick J.

I know I've seen IR data for Barco somewhere (don't remember if it was here or at RC).
If you point out any details about any other OFA remotes that work with your device, then we could easily tell you how to do the same with JP1 and the 9960. If it is Pronto data at RC rather than OFA data, that only makes it slightly harder (so I'm confident it can be done with JP1 and 9960).
You might want to look at a few threads where OFA and RS models are compared before selecting the URC-9960. The 9960 features that may look to the inexperienced as advantages may be disadvantages once you're really using it. You may prefer a more traditional design, such as the URC-8810 or RS 15-2117. But the ability to use JP1 to configure it for your device isn't affected by that choice.

There is a cml file for a Barco 708 and a spot check indicates it uses the same commands as the Barco 808 that has an upgrade in the JP1 Yahoo group files|devices|projector.
It uses a protocol ID002A, that was used by Barco until a few years ago for their Projectors. Since then they have used RC5.
So, yes, it will work.

Ahh, perfect!
I've actually decided on a JP1 modded OFA 8811 instead (too many problems with the 9960), I can't wait to try it with the Barco!
I'll try to locate the 708 cml file, thank you again!

Another noob question!

I got my OFA 8811 today and I've played around with it. I do however not understand how to import the text jon_armstrong converted above, and when trying to import the 808 device upgrade I only get a "No protocol found with name = pid 00 2A for remote ... ". Any ideas on what I might be doing wrong? I've tried some other device upgrades and they worked fine, I'm using latest RM.

I'll checkout the upgrade in RM if no one else has the answer, but I just opened it using KM Master, changed the remote to the 8811 and here it is if you don't have Excel handy:
Upgrade Code 0 = 07 10 (TV/1808)
2A 00 FC F9 B7 64 F4 74 B4 34 D4 54 94 14 E4 9F
1F AF DF 5F 8F 2B EF 6B 6F EB AF AB
KeyMoves
0F F3 07 10 0F 3D F3 07 10 4B 3E F3 07 10 CB
End
Just copy all of that and paste into IR under devices|new it should prompt you to assign TV/1808 to a device button.
