windows 7 driver problem for jp1.x usb cable

I tried my new jp1.x usb cable (from diygadget) and found that my windows 7 pc wouldn't recognize the cable (it shows up in device manager as an unrecognized device). I went to
http://www.tiaowiki.com/download//category.php?id=2 for usb driver downloads and tried the delcom jp1 usb drivers and none of them worked. I then tried the jp1.2-1.3 usb driver installer and once that was installed plugging in the cable resulted in a bsod each time. What else should I try?
Thanks.

Did you get it working yet? I can upload a known working driver. Got from here.

Thanks (and sorry I didn't answer earlier). I don't have it working yet but the diygadget support people asked me to return the cable so they can send me another (I guess they think that maybe the cable is defective). Once that arrives, I'll let you know if it works.
Btw, the diygadget support people said I should use the jp1.2-1.3 usb driver installer that appears at
http://www.tiaowiki.com/download//category.php?id=2 rather than the delcom drivers...is that what you ended up using?

I dont know if is the same.
I used this. Got it from here. I couldn't find it again. But this works for me with a JP1.2/1.3 (FLASH) USB Cable. I have the JP1.2/1.3 to JP1 Adapter. Got those from DIY gadget

It can be updated in windows update in windows 7 and will still work.
It works in windows 8. But the updated one from windows update breaks it.

It turned out that the cable was defective. Diygadget sent me a new one (no charge) and it works fine. Thanks again.
