What's up with OFA?

Am just starting to attempt an upgrade after being away for several years.

Looked at remote files and some of the recent posts which referred folks to the OFA site. (Need a replacement for a RS2116) When I go to the One for All site the remote I want (10820) is still listed but the links for all of their products are broken. (I use several 10820s currently.) I sent email but they have not responded. The OFA site says products are distributed thru Audiovox, but their site didn't list anything.

Do they still sell these remotes?

The 10820 went out of production years ago. A few pop up on ebay now and then, but none are there at the moment. You may want to consider a current model and a new JP1.3 cable to go with it like the RCA RCRP05B or BR (if you can live with 8 devices rather than 10 or multiplex).

Thank you. I was guessing they were no longer made based on OFA site.

I looked at the RCA as I had seen several posts recommending it. According to the spreadsheet of remotes I can't use KM with it and there is no extender. Since I am going to be in relearning mode anyway, I could go with RM; but, the reason I am having to create an upgrade is that I am adding a device and am out of room for key moves and macros so looks like it is extender time.

Fortunately the spreadsheet is out of date. The RCA DOES have an extender and you CAN use it with KM. It also has the same amount of keymove/macro memory as the 10820 but 4x the upgrade memory, which can eliminate the need for lots of keymoves if you play your cards right. In any case, I recommend trying to migrate to RM as it is easier to use and supports the extender and RMIR. RM can read your old KM files just fine.

Outstanding. I'll give it a try.

Is there a person I should contact about updating the spreadsheet?

Thanks.
