JP1 Remotes

I am a JP1 new bee. I have a Replay remote (2000) and have, for years had to use 2 remotes. My replay and the Mitsubishi remote just to control the volume. Mitsubishi receivers appear to be very rare. I have many universals, but non will support my receiver. I want to upgrade my replay remote to control the receivers volume. Other feature would be nice, but the volume is desired the most. Are mits receiver volume codes standard a crossed their receiver line ? or are they specific to each model ?

There appears to be just one Mitsubishi receiver in the CCF files at RC and just one Mitsubishi receiver (a very different model number) in the JP1 device files.

Those both seem to use the same commands (certainly the same vol commands). But two samples isn't really enough to jump to a conclusion about all models.

We also know other Mitsubishi devices (such as TV's) are very consistent in IR signals across models, so that improves the odds that the available JP1 receiver upgrade would work for your receiver.
