JP1 Remotes

Hi,

I have a radio shack 15-2116 8 in one remote. Back about 6 years ago I used IR.EXE to program it. I think I am using an extender but don't recall for sure.

I had it programmed for Toshiba DVD, but it died and I switched to a Sony DVP-NS710H.

I loaded IR and opened my config file 2116ex2.IR. On the devices tab I found one marked CBL: 0004. The bottom says CBL 0004 DVD (KM v8.30).

Do I need to do something like this:

1. Find Sony codes.
2. Open the KM 8.3 spreadsheet.
3. Enter the codes.
4. Get some data out of KM to put into IR.
5. Reprogram remotes.

Is this about right?

We have a KM file for a Sony DVP-NS715P DVD player here:

Hopefully that's close enough to your model that it will have similar functionality.
