1. Device:Philips DC570/37
2. Type of device: MP3
3. Year:2009
4. JP1/UEI Remote model:URC-10820, URC-9910, 15-135, URC-8011, URC-6131
5. Do you have a JP1 cable? YES
6. Still have original remote? NO
7. Checked the file section? YES
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? YES
9. Partially working setup code? NO
10. Learning remote question? N/A

I just picked this up at best buy for $50 :D Didn't have the "Easy-to-use remote control" or power cord.
I am not sure if any of the remotes i have would have a code build in for an ipod station.
All i need is on/off and volume up/down. I would prefer to use the URC-9910 to control this.

Don't suppose Best Buy had any this model on display in the store, possibly with a remote? If they do, you could learn the buttons from the instore remote.

Nope this was the display model. I had thought of that and already tried the other best buy in town and they are all sold out.
Looks like this is the remote i need:

Have you tried the Philips_HTS3544_ipod_dock upgrade from the MP3 area?

I download the "Philips HTS3455 Home Theater" and "Philips_HTS3544_ipod_dock upgrade". The upgrade did nothing but i did get one button from the home theater to work. The AUX/DI button changed my input to aux. I then tried the "Philips Tuner" from that section and now i have partial functionality.
I then went back into the upgrade and changed the device 1 to 17 and device 2 to 16 leaving device 3 blank and that gave me partial functionality.
Protocol RC-5
Device1: 17
Device2: 16
Device3: 0
Gives me channel up/down power off mute radio input

Protocol RC-5
Device1: 17
Device2: 16
Device3: (blank) says 240 next to the box
Gives me channel up/down volume up/down power on

Normally i would just upload both and do key moves but i don't have enough room left for the key moves. Any suggestions on an easy way to search for the missing functions? Also the "Philips_HTS3544_ipod_dock upgrade" is the first one i have encountered with the byte 2: dev# in yellow. An explanation or a link to an explanation would be much appreciated.

I don't really want this to sound like an 'RTFM' response, but have you read the RC-5 information on KM's Protocol Help tab?

Leaving dev3 blank simply means that the number entered into dev2 gets used instead, but when you enter 0 that's what gets used.

For us to make sense of your results, you would need to tell us which buttons worked in each case, and are you really saying that when you changed the dev3 setting, some buttons stopped working and others started working? That would be a very interesting result given that none of the buttons in this upgrade actually use dev3.

Also, for anyone that's interested, here's a list of the buttons on the OEM remote:

power
iPod
tuner
tune+
tune-
ffwd/skip+
rew/skip-
play/pause
usb
menu
aux
shuffle
timer
prog
preset+
preset-
vol+
vol-
sleep
mute

Found a match and recorded the IR signals with the JP1 tools to create the respective files.
