Hoping someone could help me decode the 5 learned signals from an oscillating fan remote. IR decoded these as all having the same EFC but different Device/Sub-Devices... so obviously the wrong protocol was detected.
Signals were learned on Insignia 67100. IR file is posted here:

I appreciate any assistance

I made an upgrade from your learns.

I'd upgrade to the latest RMIR if you haven't already. It includes the correct protocol.

Thanks for the quick assist. I'm playing with the upgrade now and now using the latest RMIR for the output and protocol upgrade "Amaxon Fan" The fan isn't responding so I'm debugging now. I will repost with more details when I get a chance.

Here's an RMIR file, which is basically your original IR file which still contains the learned signals on the TV button, but I've added Dave's upgrade to the STB button.

Try loading this file, then first verify that the learns still work (in TV mode), just to confirm that you've loaded the file properly, then test the 1-5 buttons in STB mode.

Thanks Dave and Rob! The upgrade is working perfectly now.
I had to re-trace my steps to figure out where I went wrong... In order to learn the signals from the original remote, I had to de-activate the extender and downgrade the configuration. Then when I installed the upgrade, I think I didn't re-activate the extender so the remote was acting weird... anyway after getting things back to normal, it is all working.
As a finishing step, I have uploaded the RMDU with the button descriptions added in case someone else might benefit from this:

Thanks again for the help. Have a great weekend!
Russell.
