JP1 Remotes

I normally change setup to 0000 when I kill a device to replace the red invalid number.
But some device won't let me do it. What numbers to use?

Pick one from the code selector, the button on the toolbar with the blue numbers on it. Or change the device type to TV where 0000 always exists (Sony).
