I have just bought a URC-7525 with a view to using it with a Technika LCD26-M3 TV. The One4all code that works gives just standby toggle and volume. Is this a quick and easy fix or am I face with a good few weeks of work? Although a newbie, I've hacked devices before etc

Hi - 10178 operates standby and volume buttons only.

Much appreciated. There is no device key but the procedure for 9 9 1 in the manual says press Standby after entering 9 9 1, so I tried that with 9 9 4. No effect I'm sorry to report.

Do you have a JP1 cable to program this remote?

I can help you find the codes to make a complete upgrade for this TV, if you have a cable. If you don't, I can help you find the advanced codes to do it the hard way.

Just FYI, TV/0178 uses NEC1 with device code 4

Hi Rob - many thanks - I am really new to this. Can I ask what NEC1 with device code 4 means? Doing it the hard way with advanced codes is OK for me (and if you have the time) as I don't have a JP1 and don't know anyone to borrow one.
