JP1 Remotes

I have a slingbox 500, and am in the process of switching to Layer3 TV. I haven't seen a bin for it. There is however a layer 3 tv device in the Harmony catalog. Would someone be able to create a BIN for me from that?

I'm thinking "Cable TV Box" "Custom" but if I'm off base, please advise. Then I'm looking for a XXXXX_PL.BIN file.

...in myharmony it's layer3tv and ND7506 or CI2516. Should be the same for both.

I tried the 2 .bin files in the link but they only partially work. In other words some buttons do work but others not. Also the picture of the remote that comes up is different from the remote that I have. The manual that came with the remote says it is a URC9700. I cannot work out who manufactured it. Any suggestions to find the appropriate remote .bin file?

Anyway, for the rest of the community, here was my answer

"...That isn't how it works. The BIN file produces just the functionality. The image on the screen is produced separately by Sling and called an SPR file. But we know that they have stopped production of these so you are stuck with the generic image.."

I too am having problems with the Layer3 bin file. A couple of remote buttons worked, but only sporadically. Most others, including POWER do not work for me. Any suggestions? Thanks.

It's a proven remote so I would suspect the IR system, particularity the placement of the blaster
