Yep. They are all alike. They contain a prolific 2303 HX chip. (under the epoxy blob)

Well, even though Tommy gave up on the idea of using them for JP1 cables, primarily because it was hard to find reliable sources for them where you could guarantee that they hadn't used injection molding to make them, that thread should tell you everything you need to know to get one hooked up as a JP1.x cable. (Noting, of course, that you actually need a JP1 cable for your EEPROM based URC-7560 remote).
