Rob, isn't there some phpBB feature or plugin that would disallow putting URLs into subject field? Most spam messages on the forum have a link in the subject.

I'm not aware of there being one, but I have been tempted to see if I could write one myself.

One thing for sure, when you see the link in the topic, its easier to find and delete the spam. Otherwise I have to take the time to actually open the post and read it to see if it is spam. Its been so quiet lately, I only found 3 over the last 5 days. I guess spammers take a holiday too.

12 posts today, all withing 1 minut of each other, bringing nothing to the threads but meaningless single sentence. Stinks of a bot. Maybe building up the post count before spamming some links?

Thanks Marcin, but as soon as I log on, if I see spam I will delete it. Vicky does too.
