I just got my URC-8910 to replace my 8811. I attached my JP1 parallel cable to the remote, and when I tried to download it I got the following message:
"Did not receive a response (acknowledgment) from the remote after sending bus address. (ErrNo=6, Param=0)"
I'm using the most recent IR program and RDF files. Funny thing is that the 8811 can still connect without any problems.
Anyone have any ideas to help me out?
Thanks.
Can't "Download from Remote" on 8910

There's a cleverly named sticky post right at the top of this section of the forum that may be of assistance.
(By the way, removing one battery breaks the circuit, so removing two will make no additional difference.)

Yes, I should have said I've been removing two from the circuit. I'm not actually removing the batteries. Just flipping one up so that it doesn't touch the contacts is all that is needed.Capn Trips wrote:There's a [url=https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5849]
