Now we have a Scientific Atlanta 8000, the DVR cable box. Does anyone have EFC codes so that we can get the SA DVR functionality on the OFA?
Thanks in advance.

I don't know why, but UEI only chose to put in the first device code in the 8811, rather than all 3 like in other remotes, so only the EFCs for the 1st device will work in this case. The Robman wrote:I just updated the EFC list in my previous post to reflect that then.
Tell him it'll be worth the wait. (Usually in the JP1 world things are the other way around, and it's the wife complaining about the remote being gone!)Nattyw wrote:Her Ineptitude, Robin, whose husband is getting tired of the remote being out of his hand!
Right, but for some reason the "byte2" code needs to be set to 3 to make them work. I noticed that they were only using the first code, so the original list of EFCs that I posted was based on "byte2" being set to 1. But as you can see from her results testing the EFCs I posted for POWER, only the 3rd set works.mr_d_p_gumby wrote:I don't know why, but UEI only chose to put in the first device code in the 8811, rather than all 3 like in other remotes, so only the EFCs for the 1st device will work in this case.
