Thanks for the responses, I check as soon as the remote is in my hands.

Anyway, what's the best practice now to use multiple Watch* scenarios?
Definitely I can use, for example, WatchMovie2 (Shift-WatchMovie), but what are the other options people use? Have a macro for WD TV Live box on WatchMovie ...

One more 'thank you!' to Graham!

Just noticed that another version of extender became available, but cannot test it while my 6440 is not at hand.
Working on my off-line setup for now and have a quick question - can I use LKP on Device buttons as an alternative to Activity buttons? Is this supported ...

Thanks, Graham
What would you recommend for Master Power Off? Should I just use another key for all-power-off macro LKP?

While most of the functions are working, there is an issue with the Power button (including LKP) - it does not work after the Watch Movie macros is executed. At the same time it works if I press it (short or long) in a regular TV mode for example.

use shift stop which through shift cloaking acts like stop

Brilliant, that did the job! Thanks a lot!

Then I have only one open issue left - what will be the right way to implement the master power off on Power key long press?
Again, with the old remote I had a regular macro (on Shift-Sleep ...

short would
be shift stop (stop2) and long would be eject.

For me this means that I will need to set the regular Stop command on Shift-Stop because I'm going to use the original Stop in LKP - correct?

Then for Eject function I will need to assign either Shifted or Fantom key and put it in 'Long ...

I'm also trying to play with my 6440 with Extender and I'm a bit confused with the LKP setup.
On my old remote I had a keymove 'Shift-Stop' for Eject function.
On 6440 I want to use LKP instead, so the short click on Stop should work as before (as a regular Stop command) but the long press on Stop ...

This is the link to the old thread regarding Amino upgrade: https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewt ... 7719#p37719

I will appreciate if Robman or somebody else will convert it for HCS08.

Thank you!

Hi Rob
You know ;)
This is about the protocol upgrade you created for me some time ago - Amino STB. Now I'm trying to convert it for a friend who has 8206. Can you help me again? What should I do?

Thanks
Andrew

Thank you!
Next question ;)

How can I convert S3C8+ Protocol Code to HCS08 code?
It seems I cannot just load the old upgrade into RM and change the Remote name from 2116 to 8206.

Thanks again
Andrew

how to create .wav upgrade?

Hello all!

I want to create a .wav upgrade for 8206 remote from the RM or KM upgrade file I already have. The problem that I do not have/own this 8206 remote, so I cannot read it in IR.
Is it generally achievable and what steps I should follow?

Thanks!

If you let us know what OBCs and device codes you used in your $00E2 upgrade, we can add them to the master upgrade.

Numeric keys are exactly following AMP/080, but as described before my test with 2116 & AMP/080 gave me the strange result. So, currently I've build an upgrade for my URC9910 ...

SOLVED

Solved :!:

Mark, thank you for the hint!

My original upgrade was based on Pioneer 3DEV protocol (protocol id 00 6A) and I had almost all the functions working (except station buttons).
I created a new upgrade based on Pioneer protocol (00 E2) and now I can access station buttons.

Just want to ...
