I'm not sure what your recommendation means. What is "Play command from OFF", and what is " Play|Stop=On and Play|Power=Off"

I have not been able to locate the discrete on/off codes for my Emerson EWD7003 DVD player, set up code 0675.

Does anyone have knowledge of these codes? Thanks

Using IR.EXE, and my 15-2117 remote, the device button list shows the eight devbices indicated by the buttons on the remote. In addition, the list shows db-8 thru db14.

Does anyone know what these are and what they are used for? I've searched the files and can find nothing relative to these items ...

It is not a HDTV, and video 4 is the coax input from sattellite. I'm in the process of eliminating coax, so video 4 should become a moot issue, and of no consequence to my system.

Is there a similar page for Panasonic I have a Panasonic CT32E13 32" TV and have been searching for the discrete codes for input select 1-4, but have been unable to find them so far.

I posted the saved IR file in JP1 Diagnostic area in Yahoo Groups under the filename "BLUE.TXT"

I have a blue Directv Universal remote, built by Terk, Terk model no. DTVR. This remote is JP1 capable, and is built to UEI Technology specs. I have downloaded from the remote, using IR.exe, and the remote type downloaded is Direct TV.

I was hoping to use this remote to learn JP1 so I wouldn't mess ...

I need to be more specific.

The tv turns off when I press the power key for the receiver on the 2117. I do not have the original receiver remote..

It takes 2 power key presses to to off the receiver.

The receiver turns off if I press power on the tv remote twice.

To turn on the tv, I need to use ...

Yes, the same problem happens with the original RCA tv remote.
