JP1 Remotes

I did indeed try the play key to turn it on, no go, nor the discrete input changes, with the 0037setup codes though, i do have access with the couloured buttons to the setup menus on the tv, not with the other codes.

and by av toggle yes, i mean the AV Key changes inputs

Regarding the turning of the set on, at this stage i have to press channel up/down then switch to AV inputs! Quite frustrating..

And yes the power button will only standby the set, not bring it back!!

Do i assume the play button is possibly a discrete on?

Also, i noticed other codes did work for ...

Code being used is 0037, at this stage, no i havent yet got a JP1 cable, and even though im electronics by trade, i may indeed go the lazy way out.

I have setup the OFA basically with the manufacturer codes, however, the problem is the power will only standby the unit, so i am after a discrete on, also, as i would like to setup a macro, it would be nice to know the codes to switch on -> S-VHS or switch on -> AV1

Indeed i am from australia, i wish TEAC had the specs available online, but they are not there anymore! maybe more luck with a euro website (I cant find one anywhere).

Power on and off
Input Codes
Display mode - ie: 16:9, 4:3, Cinema, Zoom, Auto
Codes for Teletext if possible ...
