I'm scared to post here again after this thread. :lol:

Funny how if someone works through the APEX codes, they get their own page explaining it , whereas when I worked through the Liteon codes, I got ran off the site! Anywho...

There are no discrete power codes for the Liteon 5115. You can try to ...

In most cases, the advanced code lists are the "official" UEI lists for a given setup code. What you're offering here are non-standard codes used by a standard setup.

Indeed, just like the APEX methods listed on this very website.

It is sometimes hard to communicate when all we have is the written word. Yes, dammit, written communication is such a poor communication tool, particularly when "we" don't know how to use that written word properly and effectively (or are simply too lazy to do so).

???

I am indeed sorry to have ...

[babble deleted...]

And why only THOSE few EFCs? Why are you not interested in any others?

Because those EFCs are the only ones to which the device will respond.

I suppose you could just test them, couldn't you? - i.e. Press the Magic (or shift, or setup) button, followed by the three-digit ...

Cheese and crackers, gentlemen. On this very website are advanced codes listings . Device code 0558 is what the Liteon 5115 uses. Since I am not JP1 enabled, I must use advanced codes to program the keys to make any meaning. The 5045 file only contains very basic keys. This post is a complete list ...

Liteon 5115 advanced codes.

ADDED FOR CLARIFICATION: If you are a non-JP1 user and have a LiteOn 5115 DVD player, you can control it using the DVD/0558 setup code. However, most of the buttons will do the wrong thing, but you can re-program them using the advanced codes listed below:
Device = 0558

010 = play
030 = TV
036 ...
