I will try to be as descriptive as I can in the future.

When I loaded the Rt2300 file to KM for some reason it prompted me to change the protocol name as well as the device code.I am unsure why it prompted me to do so.I did the changes to RCA and 68 then copied and went to ir ...

I used this file..
Filename: RCA_RT2300_Receiver_URC-8910.txt

The remote I have is the RS 15-1994

I had to change the protocol name to RCA
and the device code to 68

I omitted in my previous post (protocol device) just said protocol.

Is that the confusion?

Once again Thank you to everyone for thier help!I followed underquark's post concerning the protocol and subdevice.That was my problem.I changed the protocol where KM suggested then loaed the file to irexe and uploaded to remote.It worked!I have much more control over the Rt2600 than with the ...

Thanks for your reply!

The code I am unsure how to do that,I assumed when I copied it that was already set,it did display in the device code (general) as 1054 assigned to aux1.

The light did indeed blink twice as if the code was accepted.
