Yes the select button does have a function, "select", in cable mode. So how do I fix it?

Atlas 5 w/Extender

I have an Atlas 5 from the cable company (TWC), as you can see from my file there are no keys mapped for the cable box SA8300HD, device 1800, but all the keys work. Is it in a ROM area of the remote? I tried installing an upgrade ...

I followed your advice and removed the pip +/- keymoves and controlled the TV inputs just in the macros. We use the CBL and TV 90% of the time so I didn't put TV power in the device/TV input macros. I also wrote a macro to cycle ...

As to your file:

The lack of notes makes it difficult to guess what your keymoves and macros are to accomplish, but...
(0) My first observation is that you have a problem with your upgraded device4:2000. It has no protocol nor fixed data. If your DVD device is supposed to use this, I doubt that it ...

IR does most definitely not get modified by the extender.

If I had to make a guess about what has gone wrong, I would say the extender didn't get installed correctly

Was this based on viewing my IR file? If not could you please take a look at it. Maybe you could also tell if the extender was ...

I believe that IR itself gets modified by the extender. I rechecked the file I uploaded and there are 8 keymoves and 5 macros. Thanks for trying. I will keep looking at the 6131 posts.

What is the best way to let you see my IR file? I will do it later when I get home.
Also I have spent a lot of time looking for help on these boards with the Atlas 5 and there is not much info on it. Is there another remote that is close, uses the same extender, etc, that i could look at for ...

Thanks. I got the extender working correctly. Yes, I was expecting the built in device macros and have that working: VPT, TPT, and OPT. Now I am trying to program the device keys to: 1. switch the input on my HDTV, 2. switch the device mode of the remote, 3. turn power on to that device. I have this ...

Moving Device Button?

I am a newbie but I have had pretty good success with IR, RM, protocols for various devices and key moves. I would like to program the device keys on my Atlas 5 to change the input on the TV to the correct input, say DVD, change the remote to that device and then turn the power on.

Thanks in ...
