Alternatively, you could get a stand alone RF extender (like those Powermid pyramids that Radio Shack used to sell) and set those up so that you can point the remote at the TV and the Powermids will transport the signal over to your component rack.

If nobody reports such problems with other models (2117 in particular), then I'd much rather not expend the time and effort (and risk of other damage by taking the remote apart, as I am NOT the most adept at these things) :oops: - so I just thought I'd ask.

Simple question that I think I know the answer to.

If I want to use two 9910's to control one remotely mounted sat box, I only need to use one of the command centers. correct?
