JP1 Remotes

I'm using the 6131 extender with my Dish Network 501.

I'd like to make a key which would loop hitting the Skip +30 or Skip -10 while it is pressed. A constant signal only does the command once.

Is this possible?

In case anyone is interested, I uploaded a new version of the 50x remote to Yahoo with the # included. It's in the RMDU section.

For anyone curious, I ended up mapping every untried code to a Shift- button until I found the missing code.

Now I'm a happy camper!

I believe I have checked every 50x-ish file on Yahoo, but none seem to support the # key.

This does a search, which comes in very handy.

Has anyone else run into this?

This is a 6131 I modified myself.

After using the extender it still doesn't work right. The extended stuff just doesn't seem to be being activated. Strange thing is, after lots of futzing, it worked once. Thought, ah-ha and then with the next ...

I have a 6131 and have had no luck creating macros on the device selection keys (such as VCR).

I would like VCR to perform an AUX,8,VCR but so far, no luck. Is this possible?

Also, what is the "Shift" Key on the 6131?
