Unfortunately, you need the Flash to work (which was EOL Dec 2020). There are workarounds, and you can try to reset the clock etc.. I got the Flash to work on the System but could never get the Setup Assistant to work on ...

Personally I find the VLC output to produce better quality video rendering than the Windows Media 9 components that the SlingPlayer uses.
