JP1 Remotes

Using the links on the first post, I purchased a JP1.2/1.3 cable (the one with 6 separate single connectors) and the JP1.2/1.3 to JP1 adpater.

I have them both now but am stuck again. I think I wire the cable to the adapter using this pinout:

1 - (empty):VDD
2 - Yellow:RTS
3 - Black:GND
4 - Green ...

I have a cable from China and the adapter coming. I will likely also get the OARUSB04G and extend it. So I guess i am taking both options. Thanks for clearing up some confusion and thank you all for the advice. Off to read up on Extenders...

That explains my confusion on the cables. I may go that route now that I understand it.

I just uploaded a KM txt file for Denon DVD-1600 into the file section. Thanks to everyone for their help and various "JP-1 for beginners" documents.

I tested it and it worked on my URC-8811 but if any of the experts would like to review the file and make sure it is correct and complete as expected ...
