JP1 Remotes

Hi,

Is there a powered, remote controlled USB hub that you could plug usb powered fans or even better pc fans etc into?

The hub would just be there to provide power to these sorts of devices, and the IR/RF to turn that power on or off, either to the whole hub or better would be to each individual ...

Ok, cant get hex2ccf to work, where can I find info on using it? I've searched but can't find anything.,

If my hex file is 'pioneer2.hex' what do i need to write for the command prompt line?

And does Hex2CCF need to be put somewhere after downloading? It's just on my desktop at present.

1: I can't find any that are good for my TV( LG Lafinion 70W circa 2005)

2: Maybe someone else will find it useful too.

Will this adapter + USB JP1.2/3 (Flash) Interface cable(Tommy's latest one) work with a urc-8910?

And later if I decide to buy either a 10820 or 8820, the USB JP1.2/3 (Flash) Interface cable will work on both of ...

Do they work with JP1?
If it does then I will get one too, set it up and compare it to my Harmony 785.

I see that some is selling the urc-8900 on Ebay.Au for 25.00 shipped. They are selling here for the same price, although these may be knock offs, its hard to tell. For 25.00, its hard to find a better remote.

Have the experts/cable makers etc on this forum ever tried to have their own model of remote made? by the likes of UE/OFA or similar. If so what stopped you from going ahead, costs with production?
