UEI has given me the official code for this, which does include the arrow/volume buttons.

I've also loaded a PB file for the new executor as there's some interesting stuff in it that I've never seen before.

If you want a faster web experience, download the new Google Chrome web browser. Yeh, I tried it, too, based on expert recommendation  but reverted to Firefox after a couple of hours. I like the tabbed layout and the DownloadHelper add-in for getting videos off YouTube (royalty-free videos of ...

Steve, can you confirm that MENU works as a left arrow.

There is some confusion (and I am sure I contributed my share :-) )
The menu is poorly designed (ex. no way to navigate reliably with macros
since cursor does not reset (sometimes) and no direct access of items)
and just feels inconsistent ...

Google Chrome has trouble with editing replies.

I am using Google Chrome for a browser. When trying to reply to a post, I found it had a problem editing the reply. I have to resort to using IE to compose a reply. Chrome is popular....someone might want to take a look at what is going on.
Use Chrome and do some backspaces and cuts and pastes when ...

to reflect that EXIT and OK also function as left/right arrow keys.

Keep in mind I am using the DT502, not the DT250, but they are likely
the same regarding this:

I think you will find "Menu" is a better choice than "Exit" when navigating
the menus. "Menu" yields the behaviour you might expect ...

When you start up KM it provided you with a default list of function names, and when you enter codes for them you'll find that many of them are already assigned to buttons. It's easy to create lists of sequential numbers in Excel, so populating the list of OBCs isn't too hard.

Rather than testing ...

I do the exhaustive search by pressing "P" 0 0 0, "P" 0 0 1, and so on up to "p" 2 5 5. Many times I repeat the same code twice if I'm not sure I did it right. If there is a better way, I'm all ears.
That's how we used to do it before JP1 and yes, it can be exhausting.

JP1 users do it by creating ...

i took a look at that file.
i think the "shift" that is on the tv/vid button is referring to the shift
function of the original (sony) remote. to access the shifted buttons for
the input select you need to hit the shift button on the 8910 remote then
the appropriate number button.

i have a sony ...

8811 F.FWD and F.REW not considered transport keys?

it appears the F.FWD and F.REW keys are not in the transport group
when it comes to Home Theatre mode. was this an oversight? i searched
forums and did ot see any reference to this...i would think it frustrates
people using HT button. am i missing something here?
i have not made the leap to ...

i like to use the tv speakers for casual watching so turning the speakers
on/off from the remote is prefered to a hard disconnect. there are even
switches on the back of the tv, one i think is to use tv as center channel for surroound (not recommended, throws off surround balance etc.) but
none of ...

i have not been around here long enough to know if this is a common

an extender was a piece of hardware (probably confused with adding bigger ...
