I have a URC8100 with the extender controlling all of my devices perfectly. There is just one issue with which I would like to deal. The Receiver does notalways turn off.. I am using a ToadTog protocol for it and the macros are all correct, it is just that the receiver does not always get the off ...

Yes, tried it and it worked fine... And I figured out that I must have first downloaded the remote with the decodeir off and subsequently turned it on thinking that doing so would reevluate the stream that was last downloaded... guess I was wrong :P

So the decodeIR.dll worked fine and my device ...

btw, I was using the decodeir.dll that I downloaded 2 weeks ago from the files section and I tried it both with the decodeir dll enabled and disabled with the same result.

Sorry, I am using the URC8811 remote.. I think the code is in there, but even if not I tried adding it as a device with just the one function and it didn't fare any better.

There is nothing in the decode that specifies a device mode, there is a subdevice, but it is empty.. I set up my keymove for ...

AM/FM on an RCA receiver

I have a learned code from an RCA receiver that selects the tuner and turns on the receiver if it is not already on.

The learned code has a protocol of RCA, a device of 8 and a efc of 113

I created a key move for device 0053 with efc of 113 and it does not work for me. Have I choosen the wrong ...

Thanks for that.. I will try those two devices ( although I am certain I tried both, but maybe it was just the keys I was trying in those devices were not mapped as I might have expected )..

When you say the learned codes are quite clearly the JVC device code 163, does that 'quite clearly' apply to ...

Thanks, I have just uploaded a file named JVC-MX-J506.txt to the diagnosis area.. it is stripped down except for the learned codes for the cd player.. the codes that are learned are the vol-/+ and the 3 cd selection buttons... CD1, CD2, CD3.

I have a URC8811 that I have programmed nicely to control all of my tv/pvr etc... thanks to all the great resources that are made available to the users of this forum.

The problem I am having is that I have a JVC mini system (JVC MX-J506) that I want to add as a device that I cannot find the code ...
