This upgrade allows you to control the Emerson EVS4000 AV switcher. Configure an unused input on your Slingbox to use this device. When you want to control the switcher, change to that input, select the input, then switch back to the device you want to control.
This device upgrade does not send exactly the same IR as the original remote. The original remote sends 5 bits. This one sends 8 bits, but the lead 5 bits are consistent. The trailing bits are ignored by the switcher.
Set the "Remote" to Slingbox with UEI PL or JU
Choose "Advanced"->"Export Binary Upgrade"
Place files in your SlingPlayer\SBAV directory
Default filename is C1315_PL.bin
Place files in your SlingPlayer\SBAV directory
Slingbox->Properties->Slingbox Configuration->Audio/Video Setup
->Cable Box (analog or digital cable)->Other->Alternative Code
->C1315
